After coming home from the PDQ Bach performance last night, I stayed up until 2 a.m. playing The Sims 2. I am completely hooked and obsessed over the game. I have a soft spot in my heart for Brandi Broke, who is a single mom who is raising two kids on her own (with a third on the way). I wasted some precious time reading up on Sims on wikipedia
today.

Apparently you can get peeps in Sims 2 to play Sims 3
if you buy a certain extension.

I hope my mac mini isn't powerful enough to run
that crack.

Yeah, wouldn't be dope if there was a gateway so you can
have the game AI:s interact outside their universe without
you having to "interpret". Maybe in Sims 6 their AIs are passable as human interaction in an entertaining way, but
then again Eliza can fool most people.

Dammit, now I think I'm going to have to play tonight. I'd look into buying Sims 2, but I've only had the first Sims for like a year, so there's still plenty that I can do with it. I'd rather wait until sims 2 is nigh obsolete and they have a big "complete" package of all the expansions.

Sims 2 does look cool, though! It looks a lot more versatile.

Heh heh heh. I thought about waiting until The Sims 3 release later this year, but I have been allured by the improved gameplay and graphics of the Sims 2 system. It is so addictive!

One of the families that I want to create is the Sakana (魚) family, featuring the likes of Katsuo, Tarako, Tako, and Hirame. They would be Japanese, of course!　;)
