Holy wow. In the past two weeks, Flexcar added two new car locations that are three blocks away from my apartment, on either side of SE Stark! Currently, the minivan on SE 12th and Stark is a $5 per hour vehicle (I have reserved the minivan for the summer solstice gathering out in the 'burbs this weekend....). Flexcar probably puts vehicles nearest to the people that use them the most....So you should be honoured that they consider you a consistant user.

You are actually right--I talked to the Flexcar rep at the bike fair last weekend, and mentioned to him how I found it interesting that there were two new installs that were within walking distance of my apartment. Apparently, Flexcar keeps a database of its members and places cars closest to the cluster of members' residences.

I was thinking today about looking into Flexcar. Someone told me that they saw a sign on the Metro that there is no membership fee. We are still waiting for my car to get out of the body shop and it might not be ready in time for our dance class Thursday night.
