"The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." Always pissed me off when anyone, especially my mother, said this. As though our intention weren't the only thing that really matters.

Actually, the road to hell is paved with bad happy meal toys, smoothed over with plastic shopping bags. I've seen it. It goes through Tamaqua, PA.

To me they look like Iron City Light empties. But I could be wrong. They might be Genessee Cream Ales.

My mother used to throw that one in my face as well. She was a Jehovah's Witness, and that was her response whenever I asked her why (in her misguided opinion) all other denominations were damned.
Funny that she's now gone to the opposite extreme. She now says God will let them in whether they have a relationshiop with Jesus or not.
