Shower went well. Much fun was had.

Photos and all that good stuff will be going up later.

It's also exactly a month to my end date - provided they don't transfer me, which I'm not expecting at this point.

53 days til the wedding.

Let's do it.

I haven't sent back my RSVP yet, I'm a bad wittew girl. I have a lot of questions, though... is Brian invited? He doesn't seem to keen on the idea, but he's a recluse anyway, the booger. So if I can, I want to drag him along. If so, do you need me to put Kim Hanning and Mr. Brian Goad on the RSVP?

Also, how many receptions will there be, again? XD

And Brian and I are very good at cramming into small spaces to sleep (thank you, anime conventions), so will there be room for us at your house?

I'm dreading how much I'm going to spend on gas, but it's the first wedding I've ever been to and I'm very excited that it's yours ^.^

He is indeed invited - as the inner envelope should attest. ;) I have your invite listed under Kim and Brian on my tracking sheet, so.....

2 receptions - one with family/closest friends, one with more young-ins who didn't make the ceremony invite list.

Andy's not-too-keen on having people stay with us, but I'll see what I can do to hook you up with my 22 year old cousin and her husband to share a room and reduce the cost - if that's not too weird for you. (I'm not sure what her plans are, but we'll see what we can do!)

As to the gas, I know that I can do the roughly 400 mile trip (one way) on less than a full tank (about 3/4 a tank) of gas, so depending on what you're driving, it shouldn't be too bad. (It's generally about $60 for the Accord for a round trip).

Okay, I'll send the R.S.V.P. out A.S.A.P. Har.

As for sharing hotel room, that's keen as long as the reduced cost isn't TOO much. I mean, I don't mind staying in a crappy place, honestly. And staying with your cousin means I'll get to follow her to wedding/reception/reception since I won't know where the heck I am in Knoxville. Plus maybe we'll get to know each other and I won't feel so weird only knowing you at the wedding/receptions.

It's an 8 hour or so one-way drive to Knoxville, was the number I think Brian and I came up with, and I think we deduced it would cost about $120 round-trip for gas. Then we have to get dress/tux (Brian has NO formal clothing) and pay for hotel room. I hope you don't mind your gift being of the hand-made variety. ;.;

We're doing dressy, but not formal - essentially, something you would wear to something like church would work just right. :)

Everything else really isn't worth stressing over - (and honestly, whgat to wear isn't either) And gift is not required. At. All.

We're going to have a lot of people there that don't know each other, but a lot of those that are born to just have a good time, so we hope that it all works out pretty well and no one feels like they're out of place. :)
