Rereading the Wheel of Time

I've had Robert Jordan's fantasy epic The Wheel of Time sitting in pride of place on my bookshelf and staring at me for quite some time. I hadn't plucked up the will to read it, on the basis that I found it really, really hard to read the books as they were coming out with huge gaps in between (I'd much rather wait until they're finished), and I

According to Amazon the last book is being cut into a trilogy. FYI.

Indeed. The twelfth book (first third of the final book), the Gathering Storm, is already out; I've read it and, despite being partially written by someone who isn't Robert Jordan, it's one of the better ones.
