I just found out that two of my friends... well, friend's friends, more like. Well, they both applied to schools in England. Both got accepted. One is going to London and the other just outside London. Design or something

Maybe you can work a year after you graduate? Just take a break from school and do something else, relax and try not to worry so much? Do you have anything like folkhögskola in Finland? That's a great thing, you live apart from your parents but not completely on your own, you get to meet lots of new people and you'll learn but without exams and grades. Or maybe you can go abroad and work as a volunteer? I know there are many programs out there you can join, and many different and interesting projects to work on. Perhaps you can be an intern/apprentice in a stable somewhere? Or if you get a real job, at least you could save some money, and travel while you are still young and free!
Well I have to have two years of work experience before I can apply to police school, so I'm going to have to work after I graduate :) But I mean, like for example, most universities give you extra points if you take the entrance exam within a year after finishing school. Basically, to get into the school of your choice, you'd have to decide by the end of your last school year. When you're 19. Frightening.

Um, I don't think so.
Or maybe you can go abroad and work as a volunteer?
And eat how? Besides, I'm not much of a volunteer person. I just want to settle down somewhere, study somewhere that'll guarantee me a job (as much as that's possible). Volunteer work is honestly not for me. Besides, if I say I'm not even ready to decide what I want to do, I honestly don't think I'd be ready to move out and start living on my own as a volunteer worker in a foreign country. Wouldn't that be a pretty damnbig change?
Perhaps you can be an intern/apprentice in a stable somewhere?I really,

Oh, I have very similar situation and worries. I too yearn to get abroad but don't just know how. My exams are soon over (the results haven't been anything special so far) and I wonder if I should just take next year lightly if I don't get to university to study English straight away. Get finally some work experience (haven't got a summer job even once.. = practically empty CV

You don't need a university degree to be useful!
