Okay, I'm dithering.

Who out there hasn't read any of the drafts of Cairo Is Burning and hasn't been part of talking-things-over-in-AIM with me, and wants to read the alpha draft with a fresh set of eyes and tell me if I've got one book with a really sharp divide in the middle that needs to be smoothed over, or two books that need a better ( Read more... )

I'd love to read it, but I'm ashamed to say that it's mostly in the: OMG, synecdochic-stuff sneak preview OMG! sort of way, rather than with my editorial hat on. If you're willing to consider a perfect stranger with delusions of literary adequacy, I'm your man, LOL. No worries if you're already fully stocked.

Would LOVE to but I suspect I don't know enough about the Universe to know what makes sense.

That said, having read what you've posted about it, I would recommend two books.

It gives folks something to eagerly anticipate, have release parties at midnight for, etc. and so forth.

Too, TRUST YOUR BETA READER.

I'd love to read it - though mostly as I totally love your writing! But I can also be good at thematic analysis and official stuff...

Having read the drafts, I cannot offer assistance.

This is merely a completely gratuitous comment to reiterate my adoration for the book or books, whichever they turn out to be.
