Dork! Having your computer hooked up to the TV...shameless... Actually my roomie and I had one hooked up to a big screen back in '98. It was kind of boring in my opinion, but computers have changed so much in the last few years. It might be fun to play some games on the big screen like that.

lol, no no.. we just have one of the computers hooked up to the TV so we can watch stuff on it. :)

I tried playing some games on it a while ago, but it didn't work too well. But then again that was the old television where you couldn't see shit... now with this one I bet PC games would look great...

Wow! It's all about the resolution, n'est pas? Get a dish, man. Most cable sucks. The cable companies just get it from satellites, then degrade it. The difference in cost is negligible - at least around here.

It seems like satellite is actually a bit cheaper. The only reason we got cable to begin with was that the satellite people we talked to sounded shady. They were advertising a cheap price, but then when we talked to the guy it turns out that there are hidden charges, etc.

I'm leaning towards Voom right now since it seems like they offer the most HD content out of everybody, but will see...

Did you go straight to DishNetwork or through some middle guy?
What's Voom, BTW?
