Oh, and oh yeah-- Heroes

Good Heroes news, I think:
Alexander and Loeb are fired from HeroesI hate saying that, though, as I think Jeph Loeb is a really cool guy. But, man, his writing has always been hit and miss and lately it just... well, it just doesn't do anything for me. I'm curious to see if Heroes improves with those two guys gone ( Read more... )

OK I like this show.. I even have been putting up with what has been going on this season. Partly because all comics are , are soap operas for boys, but I am interested to see what happens now.

Not all comics, but certainly superhero ones (minus exceptions like Punisher MAX-- which isn't a superhero comics, really). But yeah, I like Heroes, too. And this season has been fun in some ways, but incredibly frustrating in others. It plays like its been written by a dozen retardedly drunk monkeys. They have pulled out all the stops, tried making it even crazier and then failed in the process to make an interesting show, well, more interesting.

They need Plot- Voltron. And they need Plot-Voltron BAD.

ya it reminded me of all those dc/marvel superhero comics..which is what I thought it was aiming for. it is not a deep show to say the lest.

I feel that right now they are just setting up about 5 plots for later. plot seems fine for me..I see where it is going. I am more interested to see if they end all of them or not.

Somebody in AICN talkbalk said he's a terrific writer but a terrible storyteller. I have to agree with that assessment. He does good lines and scenes, but his story construction is rubbish usually.

The thing about Heroes is that I can really only watch for Syler. He's the only character who has displayed some growth and real change over the three seasons, and Quinto plays him excellently.

Every other character is static, and I find that horribly frustrating. I'm tired of the childishly naieve Hiro, the forever confused Peter Petrelli, the permanantly angsty teen Claire, and so on and so on. There just isn't enough growth and depth to keep me riveted this season. If it weren't for Syler, I would have given up many episodes ago.

Damn, now I can't stop watching it. I want to, but if they get new writers I have to either see the show right it self up again. Or watch it explode and smolder like a expensive firecracker that doesn't even screech.
Bastard, I would have been just fine hating the show for them stealing my dreams & then peeing on them. Now I have to go on a roller coaster ride with them. AND I HATE ROLLER COASTERS!

Pricks.
