Perhaps they'd be scarier if they started cutting off people's heads on buses.

And eating the victim's flesh.

I think it just breaks down to: Techno Raver Viking is scarier looking than nearly all black metal folks. I just can't get intimidated by a bunch of skinny long haired dudes raised in Scandinavia. Black Metal might have had more of a intimidating impact back in 1100.

When the lead singer of Creed and Bill Leeb are tougher, you might want to re-evaluate your "scary image".

Also, I never found Venom scary, either.

I'd still like to find some black metal music which appeals to me. I can hear elements I really like in a lot of it, and I can appreciate extreme metal.

Yeah, it's one of those films which may have limited appeal, but to those it appeals to to it's AWESOME. I just love the weird quirkiness of it, and the nods to all sorts of other things.

I don't think there has been a Danny Boyle film I haven't enjoyed. He's just one of those directors I love.

If I remember correctly, a comic was made of the film, right?

Yeah? I thought it was pretty good. Better than I expected, anyway. What did you hate about it?

Crap. I just paid $35 for my Test Strips. (Box of 100).

They need to cure Diabetes - just think how much money I could save.

I also hate to think how long I would live if I couldn't afford my meds. In my younger poorer days I remember bouncing checks just to buy insulin, and reusing my disposable needles until they hurt. Never mind owning a meter or checking my blood sugar with any sort of regularity. I guess that is why I'm legally blind today.

Well, in countries that have socialised medicine or single-payer systems where the non-rich are covered to the best of the system's ability, diabetes WILL be cured. So, tell you what. Since they've already cured it in France, the UK and Canada, and we're just all waiting to see if it lasts and it to be available to everyone (my doc says "within ten years"), you can come up here to visit and stay with me when you get your cure ( ... )
