Man, I'm busy with all sorts of stuff today. But before I get back to suppressing the Lawn Gnome Rebellion, here are some items.

- ORCUSVILLE is now being updated with actual strips. Yup. Not just slapped together "promo things". Although, I have to admit that when I help Lord Orcus slap something together it looks... well, slapped. Tomorrow there ( Read more... )

Clearly!

Vance seems to like the DC chars more, whereas Drake digs Marvel.

Toddler Civil War of Crisis?

Vance is also frightened of Wolverine.

At least neither one care about the Skrull thing. That's where Marvel pretty much lost me for the time being. I hate Skrulls, think they are stupid for the most part, and wish the Brood would just eat them ALL. And then we'd never see them again, except for the one-off of skrull who gets mocked repeatedly by Fight Man or something.

Bah.

What's wrong with Skrullabulloo? You're not really being respectful of all the hard work put into the story. I mean, it must have taken ages for Bendis to come up with the idea of "Skrulls disguise themselves as stuff"...

Stupid Marvel.

I have this terrible fear that any (hypothetical) kids of mine will end up liking Aquaman or Hal Jordan or something, and I'll be forced to abandon them in the woods.

I'm just waiting for them to call an arc "Skrullduggery". Sigh.

I still like Marvel over DC, but I don't read much from either (in fact, I read more Vertigo, actually).

You know, I like Aquaman. I just think that he's been treated like shit. Some great writers have had him and nothing has really come of it. Honestly, they should kill Aquaman off in the DCU proper and give him a Vertigo book (or not kill him off and give him a vertigo book). I feel it would be a great way to revitalise the character, who quite frankly is, well, treated like shit.

That was yesterday. Today was scrambled eggs (with swiss and cheddar cheese, broccoli, and other things) and chicken sausages."
