Heroes

Dec 04, 2007 20:33

So I got a chance to catch the latest episode Heroes. Honestly? I was really enjoying the season until it started obviously caving to the complaints of viewers...

Couldn't have Peter just walked through the vault door?

There were some poor editing moments. Like the ventriloquist with the gas cans. Pretty impressive.

Are Niki and Nathan dead? I doubt ( Read more... )

Agreed on most counts.

I still enjoyed it, but the whole thing felt rushed. It was like season 2 of "Carnivale", where they were trying to please fans and keep up a pace at the expense of having a good, well-paced story.

Yeah, I sound like I hated it. I didn't. Though it was pretty ruined when you reminded me about the vault door thing (thanks, dick) I don't regret watching it. AND Heroes is still one of the better shows on TV.

I hate because I love. ;)

To me it feels like the second season of Rome. Quite good, but some things pissed me off.

It doesn't help that the last TV thing I saw before this ep was the most recent ep of Life. Fuck, that's a GREAT show. So happy it's on twice this week!1

Yep. And you still have "Chuck" to go, as well.

And you can always watch some "Reaper" to remind you of how much better "Heroes" is.

I already saw a first few eps of Reaper... Why do I need to watch the same story AGAIN and AGAIN? Seriously, they did to get the hell out of that stuck gear.

Mmmmm... Chuck. I do need to see that. Probably later.

Aren't you supposed to be telling me something, anyway?

I think Sylar is the Anti-Peter, like the way he gets all his powers it the evil way vs Peter's good way.

I am more than happy to lose Peter if it means losing Sylar. he is just annoying.

Adam or Matt's father are much better villains.

I will be all kinds of pissed off if they write it in that Sylar is the one to kill Adam eventually and will do it for his never day abilities... and then adam doesnt die anyway.

yeah, I am filled with low expectations right now.

Crap, I forgot to mention my guess that Sylar finds Adam and takes his healing power... Since Sylar gets his powers from consuming the brain (of course, this could be psychological in nature... and we're just assuming he consumes it) we can assert that Adam would be killed.

Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if Sylar is revealed to be related to Peter.

Honestly, I think they are ALL decended from Adam.

and that Peter and Nathan are a bit more closely related. Their dad is a wee bit blurry in that photo.

I guess the question is "Where did Adam come from?" then.

He might have come from the future or something... Or maybe there were other genetic "heroes" back then. But I think you may be on to something.

Ever notice how many of the Heroes aren't really heroes? In fact-- Oh, nevermind. Just pisses me off when I think on it.

I like West for some reason and I feel he isn't used enough (though I wouldn't be sad to see him go).

I guess Peter trusted Adam after being locked up with him for so long. That's the problem with knowing more than the characters... However, I do agree he was extra retarded this ep.

I was hoping Maya would die. And I got my wish. What? GAH. Fucking comic book death motherfuckers!!!
(Not that I hate Maya... I just like everyone else including Niki, better)

she suffers from the "he's too pretty to be evil" bullshit I loathe.

Well, she did let her infatuation blind her. But I don't blame her. She didn't know any better. Notice how quick she snapped out of it as soon as Mohinder let her know what's up?

She's not a bad character. She represents tarnished innocence quite nicely.

i don't remember. were we ever told why Peter didn't read Adam's mind?

anyway, unsatisfying conclusion, as i said in my post just a little later on (i only just now watched the last two episodes online, before watching the finale of Tin Man).

Because he was too busy trying to figure out why he wasn't walking through the door?

I'd like to see Tin Man. I thought it would suck (regardless of the good actors involved) but I am hearing otherwise... hmmm

Tin Man's okay. Cheria and I watched bits of it.

It's no Flash, but it's still a Sci-Fi Channel production.

I'd give up a nut to get more Lost Room.

i'm liking Tin Man, a lot more than i thought i would.

Lost Room was excellent. i don't know if Warehouse 13 will be any good. personally, i'd like to see Friday the 13th, The Series remade.

i'd like to see The Dresden Files return, of course, and i am liking Eureka.

Hiro grew a set, and they're pretty twisted. Burying someone alive, forever 'n ever? Gah. I'm sure he'll get out somehow.

Also, where's future Hiro? The one who comes back to warn Peter in the subway?

Hiro's Twisted Set would be a good name for a band.

Maybe Hiro changed the future enough to where that doesn't happen?

heehee!

I've been waiting two seasons to see Smoov Future Hiro! I hope that isn't the case.

I think the tale of Hiro will be one of a happy boy forged in flames. Though he survives and becomes stronger, many scars are left on his soul.

Right. That's as fucking poetic as I'm gonna get for awhile.
