Not really my best pun, but I'm tired.

I'm staring down some serious night-time school work. It takes me back to the days of university when this was status quo. I think it's important that you're Doing Something. I get a lot of flak from my sister for being an armchair politician who never actually gets around to doing anything, and I am frequently guilt-ridden ;(

Hey J, thanks for your comments. If you want to go even a step further, bananas are way brutal. (Read up on Banana Republics, if you're interested) Farmers clear cut the lands to grow bananas to sell overseas instead of growing food for their own starving people. It's awful. We're so indulged on every side, to the detriment of the rest of the world. I've become almost sick with realization of what we're doing.

I should have known better then to believe that guy on the radio last week talking about carbon foot prints and bananas! Every issue has so many sides it is like rolling the dice to take a stand.

That is why blogs like yours are so important! Our way of life is so complicated we have become so ignorant and need to be educated from people like you and stop relying on politicians and "experts" with agendas.
