My review of the Supernatural episode “Exile on Main St” is up at pinkraygun.com. Enjoy!

An excerpt:

“I don’t think Show made Sam into Pod Sam accidentally, of course, so I figure there must be some reason for this shift in Sam. So maybe, like I said before, it has to do with what happened to him in hell. Or, in a more sinister vein, maybe he ( Read more... )

I very much enjoyed your insight. I too, think of myself as a Pollyanna, and I still think the episode had some good points, and I just can't wait for the new season to find it's footing. Thanks for sharing! :)

You are more than welcome. There is something to be said for having a positive attitude, and my admiration for Pollyanna (who turned a whole town around just by being Glad) is strong. : D

Hi, you! How've you been during my tenure as a terrible, terrible lj friend? You're in Boulder, right? I hope you and yours weren't affected by the fires.

It's good to see your reviews again, even if you could be more in love with Show just now.

I don’t know, maybe some couples counseling would be helpful.

I think I can relate; My relationship to canon for most of s5 was desperately in need of some couples therapy.

if Dean stops being hunter, he takes up being a mechanic,I didn't get it written this summer, and now probably never will, but in my head, there lives a story in which a post "Swan Song" Dean takes a job doing maintenance at the local community college, ends up enrolled (clearly, theirs is a universe where tuition breaks for employees are staggeringly generous!) in a class or two, and comes out the other side with a nursing degree. I can't decide if he'd end up in the surgical rehab wing of a Veterans' Hospital or in the ER at a children's hospital, but I think he'd do it well and find it fulfilling. ( ... )

No worries, mate. I know people have real lives, I have one too...and the summer was not quite long enough to prepare for Season Six! Thanks for coming by and sharing the love about Sam's flannel shirts. : D ( ... )

I wanted to let you know that I was so moved by your statements about Sam that I'm quoting you in my review for Pink Raygun. Hope that's okay. : D
