You can read my review of the Supernatural episode "No Rest for the Wicked" at pinkraygun.com. Thank you!

An excerpt:

"The scene where Dean gets Sammy singing was priceless. I got the feeling that when Dean’s alone in the car, he sings rather a lot. I can see him rolling all the windows down, cranking the radio all the way up, and singing at the top ( Read more... )

Beautiful review....and I am and always be a total Dean!girl, for the same reasons you stated at the end and many more. I love Sam to bits, but Dean owns my soul :)

Thank you for saying so! And I loved how you put it, Deangirl forever, he owns our collective souls, but Sam, we love to bits. And it doesn't mean we can't look at Sam and long to run our fingers through his Samhair, does it? Nooooo, it does not. Show made Samhair for us to enjoy!

Sam is my little annoying brother. That's how I see him and how I love him. The same way Dean does.

Dean? I'm in Hell, or wherever he is, with him ;)

Annoying little brothers can still be adorable and cute. And Sam is THAT!

Dean, Dean, Dean. I think he's had enough. I think Show should call a time out for him. He needs a break.

Ow, this episode was a killer. I spent the last minutes of it crying over my laptop, and after reading your review I'm in tears again. What the hell is wrong with me? It's just tv. I'm known to cry over books, but I never cry because of a tv show. Oh Supernatural, what you do to me!

Dean has a nightmare where hellhounds are chasing him.

I really really liked this nightmare, because Dean looked so hot when the hellhounds knocked him on his back. And the look on his face when he woke up... God, I'm so shallow.

When Dean punched Ruby, I stood up and CHEERED, and I think I pulled something in my shoulder punching the air because now it hurts like hell!

Whoa! Careful with your shoulders, you don't want to be in a bad mood again when you review S2. *wink* I cheered, too, and even more so when he managed to lure her into the devil's trap. Ha, take that, Ruby!

we get Lilith on shore leave in a happy suburb, where she gets to play at being the naughty little girl,I just can't get enough of creepy kids (wonder what that says about me ( ... )

Crying: No, there's nothing wrong with you. After I got done crying, I was in a blue funk for a long time, trying to get over the idea that Dean had died, and that the boys had suffered like that. I don't cry over TV shows either, well, maybe a Hallmark commercial if the moon is right, but not TV. However, Show knows what buttons to push, and it's telling a great story besides ( ... )

Crying & Nightmare

Thank goodness I'm not alone in crying and being shallow! It's so much more fun when you can share it.

Turns out I pinched my C7 nerve, which comes straight out of the spine. Fun, huh?

Ouch, that sounds painful. I hope you feel better soon!

Never knew where Bobby ended up in this ep

There was a short shot of him being stuck in one of the neighbors' houses, watching the possessed neighbors and glancing worriedly at his watch.

TV show? No...it's real. At least that's the way it feels to me.

I know! It's like Sam and Dean do exist somewhere. One day they will knock on my door, I'll invite them in, and they will lose their clothes pretty fast.

Dean's thighs... And they couldn't have him, er, face down, right? So face up it is. Only...yeah.I'm not even into thighs so much, I go for butts, but Dean's thighs are... I don't know. I keep staring at them since I saw him running over the bridge in the pilot. Face down on the table, with that lovely ass of his sticking in the air? Uh, that would have been nice, too ( ... )

Thank you! Yeah, Dean was totally terrific! I'm surprised I even considered for a moment becoming a Samgirl. (I could be, given the right encouragement.)

Hee! I love your analogy to The Wizard of Oz. Sam is Dorothy, which makes Dean--Toto? Thanks to you, the Orphan, and the Crackwhore for sharing your respective reactions.

Ha! I think that yes, that does make Dean Toto. Or...the Scarecrow? Because that's the one Dorothy said she'd miss most of all. (I totally couldn't help myself and probably went on too long with that particular anaolgy, but my sister kept AT me, wanting to know, "Why doesn't Lilith just KILL him then? If she's got all those powers?" So I had to come up with something, eh. That was it!)

A great review. It almost was like watching the episode once again. Many things I agree with you or feel at least similar…

Plus, it was one of those Winchester moments you wish you could lock in a golden box forever,
Yes, exactly. It was a bittersweet moment as well but listening to the boys singing together like that and watching Sam laughing… just wonderful. The ending of this scene though, as you said, reminds us of what is about to come. And Dean’s fear is so ovious, it’s painful to watch, even catching since the viewer really sympathizes with him.

because this is what Show does best: a scene with two brothers at odds, each ready to die for the other, and a no-win scenario during which the ultimate sacrifice will have to be made
I also agree. You might remember that I told you that this is what I love most about the show. The brothers and their relationship. That’s the heart of SPN (I hope this metaphor works in English like it does in German).

together inside me in horror. I had my hands over my mouth, trying not to shriek ( ... )
