We were at a Borders in north Atlanta today, and an employee approached Jodi at the magazine racks to ask her if she needed help finding anything. Yes, she said: can you help me find Ms. magazine?

"Ms. magazine? I've never heard of it."

I smirked to compliment his dry wit.

I started reading it for several years after it first came out, and then again when it got revitalized in the 80's. I didn't realize it was still in production.

Okay...I'm not too upset or surprised that some Borders punk has never heard of Ms. magazine. It's the natural order of things, in a naturally stupid way.

You, on the other hand, get huge props for a Morlock reference, especially one that includes the Hodgson/biblical subtext. Yeah. that's a nice touch.

I'm kinda hoping that there is another social revolution soon and that my kid will be in the middle of it. It will give Ms. something to talk about. Last time I looked, they lacked any new material or focus.
