Lots of people I know seem to be enjoying this, so I'll give it a try.

Three things that made me happy today:

Seeing BzzAgent's new site, which is wonderfully informative and well-designed
Teaching Jodi the basics of chess at Kaleisia
Overcoming her beginner's luck twice, both times somewhere around her KB2.

for some reason this icon always confuses me and i think it's pandora. I guess cuz i see cat and think Pandora on LJ.

Aw, man, I haven't really played chess in forever. I wouldn't know a Queen's Gambit Declined from a Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls". (I've never memorized an opening more complicated than "get the knights out front and center", nor known exactly what was meant by any of those eponymous plays.)
