I am surprised and very pleased to be able to host the fourth round of the elusive S.N.A.P.E. Art Contest, a tradition founded by _vocalion_! A tradition that has given us all a lot of laughter and great art. Here are the links to the previous contests ( Read more... )

Er...I'm no artist, but I gave it a try. Here's my sacrifice to the gods of laughter: http://artpad.art.com/?imfnw8cx9x8 . I entitle it "Sev, Potter, & Sebastian: A Little Crab's Nightmare." And I hope it's o.k. if I friend you (though you might say "no" after my...well...attempt). Here's the Disney link (yes, I stuck with the Disney version) for The Little Mermaid: http://disney.go.com/vault/archives/movies/mermaid/mermaid.html

What a nightmare indeed Lunafish : )

Well it was Vocalion the one who let me know about the previous contest and now I am an addict, she’s such a dear: )

Ok here is my offering, it is based on the eternal young maiden that kisses the frog and gets the gorgeous prince, only this time, things just didn’t turn out quite well; here is the link:

I hope you don’t mind I friended you ; )

Oops, sorry, previous incomplete comment deleted! I'm here via "lj user="_vocalion_">'s LJ. I've wanted to enter this contest for a while, so here goes:

I must stress that I have no artistic skills whatsoever ;) I've called this pic 'A Walk in the Woods' and it's based on Little Red Riding Hood. Here is a link to an on-line version of the story:

Thanks for coming up with this month's theme :)

Oops; I didn't read the instructions closely enough. There's no other canon character in there. Ah well; have a look first, and then disqualify me.

The fairy tale is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves", and here you see a chance encounter between Snape and the evil witch with her poisoned apples, just off on her way to go murder that detestable Mary-Sue known as Snow White.

This is great! Now if we knew more about Sev's family, it could be a canon character. Anyway, you can make as many entries as you want.... (hint, hint...) ;)

There is a strong family resemblance, isn't there? Very nice, and welcome to artpad!

Thank you Lunafish.

I think there is a wolf out with stomach-ache *snicker* excellent drawing aramintasnape.

The following was suggested by my six year old daughter, (can you imagine the sense of humor in that small girl) I was just telling my sister about the contest and she interrupted us with this idea, I personally think is funny I hope you all like it; it’s entitled : Prince Charming.http://artpad.art.com/?iminxlfimvo

Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney movie; it was also the first movie I ever saw at age 7. Here is the link to the actual story: http://www.nogginworks.org/evans/sb/beauty_fr.html

That is one of the best Snape noses I've ever seen. And I love the way you drew Dumbledore!

Needless to say, I love it. Your daughter has a great sense of humour! And the expression on Snape's face!
