The results of my visit to the ER (evening of the 26th)

Good news: I don’t have bronchitis.

Bad news: I have a very bad case of pneumonia. My lungs are apparently over half full of fluid (see, I’m an optimist). They also did some blood work and I have to wait 2 days for the results to be sure there is no infection in the blood. They put in an IV and gave me a bag of antibiotics and have prescribed some

Kaiser has their (large) faults but if you've got a good plan then you get taken care of. I had to have to lypoma removed last year and the x-rays, tests, and finally the procedure cost me about $20 (including anathesia). I'm glad you're ok.

Sorry to hear your sick. hope you get better soon. As far as the fat thing goes. Yea, my doctor does that every time I see her, she gets all serious and says quitley, "you seem to be overweight"

once it's out of your system, be careful every time you get a cold or a the flu... it can come back very easily.

but it's good that they have you on the good stuff to clear it out.
