We do know their story! And if you haven’t heard, SM exploded over night because Jared tweeted that it was the first he heard of it and was “gutted.”

I'm not that much on SM, so I didn't see that until after your post. Cause I had to check!

And I find it really strange that Jensen didn't communicate this with Jared first. He IS one of the Winchester after all...

I really don´t know what to think of it.
And it really doesn´t sit well with me that Jensen and Danelle announced it and not Jared and Jensen.

I'm a bit shell shocked, both with the news of the "Winchesters" and that Jared wasn't even aware of this. Can't say I have any interest whatsoever in the back story, I think Jensen (who I adore) has dropped one on this.

Yeah, I’ve seen a handful of fans on Twitter who say they’re excited for but zero interest on tumblr. Not only did Jensen apparently not tell Jared, but the show appears to intentionally exclude a role for him. I adore Jensen too, and this situation disappoints me.

I am not going to voice my thoughts exactly as I have them in my head, but if I tone it down a bit, I will say that these deals were to be expected after J & D announced establishing their production company.
Therefore I am not disappointed, payday is payday. 😎

I agree. I just take issue with how it was handled, and I have no interest in Robbie Thompson’s retcon of John and Mary’s story.

I hear you. I cannot believe how after so many years of friendship one would show this disrespect and disregard for their shared legacy. I cannot fathom not discussing about it, not giving a head's up, not involving the other half of that legacy.
Don't get me started also on how much it does not make any sense from a dramaturgy point of view. What else is left to be narrated? I am just shaking my head.
