One BSG spoiler, sort of, and a pledge for shirtless Sam and Dean! :P

And now for something completely different, BSG!

This is a quite mild spoiler imho from the James Callis interview with Starburst (issue 339) about Baltar in season three. ( Under the Cut, just because! )

bsg, baltar, supernatural, squee, spoilers, shirtlessness

Whee! Sylia! I've missed you but that's my own fault as I've been swamped with RL supposed impending move nightmares and all the drama associated (even to the exclusiond of World Cup, sobs)...so I've skimmed but not commented. Nice Vans, btw. And I always say, if you find something you really love and it's comfy too, definitely buy in multiple colours. Strategy has stood me well!

I like this Baltar spoiler. I like it because one of the great things about BSG is that everything is shades of gray, right? Every character has their demons in the closet and everyone makes mistakes. Noone's motives are clear. If Baltar were to become the consumate ev0l it would somehow ring false. He should have doubts. He should feel remorse and have to face the consequences of his decisions in a very real way. Every other character does!

Thanks for sharing this. ;)

EEE! I'm glad you're back! Best luck with the move! *hugs*

I totally agree with you! Now, if only I wasn't so broke at the moment I would buy a couple of pairs in other colours, I loved the white and purple, and the white and turquoise... but they'll have to wait! Alas, blame it on the shitload of books and dvds I've purchased this week XD

one of the great things about BSG is that everything is shades of gray, right?Exactly! That's something that I absolutely love in fiction! One day a particular character may be the hero of the day, but the following day takes the wrong decission, or gets driven by his selfishness and ruins everything, or has the best intentions doing something but it turns out the oposite she/he expected! I LOVE THAT! I think that if Baltar were Teh Evil, his character would turn into a joke... I prefer him in the grey area much more! I'm so looking forward to seeing how all of this is actually ( ... )
