I think this perfectly sums up the story: She was looking for a hero; he was only playing at being one. They both knew the score. Agh, so heart-wrenching but so true.

I have to applaude you for making their relationship so realistic. Out of hesitancy and mistrust grew a sort of unspoken symbiosis that fits them both perfectly.

So much to love - Sylar's explanation that he's only playing at a hero, but he's so focused on protecting/providing for her that I think he's not just playing; Molly and Mohinder's willingness to help Sylar for Claire's sake; the Claire/Sylar hug :)
