Challenge #18!
The response for challenge #17 was great, but we can do better! This time, we're going to try a two week challenge. The prompts are vaguely related to July, but you might have to think a bit to figure out how... ;-)
1. Please see the posting guidelines here before you post your work.
2. Please post your fic to the community. You may also post it elsewhere, but please indicate that it's a challenge fic and link back here. :D Okay, fine, that's not exactly a "rule" per-say, really I just want to get more people over here.... ;)
3. All fics are due on Sunday, July 19th at midnight EST (GMT -4).
4. For the one-shot challenge, which means that your fic should be 1,000 words or more, the prompt is Empire.
5. For the drabble challenge, which means that your fic should be 1,000 words or less, the prompt is Ruby.
