That seems... like a lot of rap guys aren't going to feel the cops coming? xD

Not a lot....NONE of the rap guys are going to see them coming.

. . .

and now that I think about it, that might not be so bad. Because they will get to wherever they were going, THEN promptly get arrested for running from the cops.

This is idea is starting to seem like a genuinely GENIUS idea all of a sudden. The less rap-listening bastards running around, the better.

But people like you & I are going to be stuck in the middle of the subwoofer war.

. . .

Naaaaaaaaaah, it's not worth it to have to listen to that crap from both cops *&* robbers. (I say that jokingly, of course) :p

You don't get the same bassin' here, thankfully. oh sure, sometimes there will be someone parked up outside of my house blaring, but not too often. :)

Lucky you. :p Unfortunately, I think the idiots who blare this stuff (here in Tx at least) are actually getting WORSE about it. You can't walk/drive anywhere for 5 minutes without being subjected to glass being shaken apart by the loooooooooooooooow frequencies.

Seriously tho, I like me some bass guitar in my metal songs. It adds flavor, & can really show the musicianship of a band when done correctly.

But does ANY song, for ANY reason, need THAT much freakin' bass? When I can't hear the lyrics (or whatever melody [hah!] there might actually be in a rap song), then you have to wonder what the purpose of the bass really serves, aside from just shaking everything to shit?

It's things like this that REALLY make me despise rap as a *snicker* musical art form.
