Dressmaker in CBD/St George?

Hey guys,

Checked the tags, but no joy - can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced dressmaker in the CBD or St George area? I need a fairly simple-ish dress made (which is nonetheless beyond my own sewing skillz), but I don't want to pay a "bridal specialist" a fortune.

Ask in your local smaller fabric shops. They usually will know of someone. Failing that, have you tried Yellow Pages?

The Yellow Pages was all the aforementioned "bridal specialists" as far as I could see, and I can't get a recommendation from that anyway - but I didn't think of asking at the fabric shops. Good idea, thanks. :)

The Community newspapers sometimes have ads as well. In my paper they're in the lassifieds around handymen and ironing, that sort of stuff.
