Building inspectors?

I may need the services of a building inspector to check out an apartment I'm buying in Marrickville. Any recommendations/warnings?

I'm not sure how a building inspector differs from a valuer, but I do know a very good valuer if that's any help.

Otherwise, your conveyencer will probably have a preferred one.

I've already put in a offer so valuation's not an issue, I'm looking more for indepth structural/defect inspection. I'll drop you a line when I'm ready to sell =)

I would recommend KAV Building inspectors.
