Sold out already!!! I managed to get tickets for myself and a friend, but my other two friends missed out.
So.. do you reckon they'll release a second lot like last year?
Who else has their fingers crossed?

Not the greatest line up I know, but no way am I going to miss Rage Against the Machine, Arcade Fire and Bjork!

apparently they have put aside some for a ticket ballot for later this year. that said, i haven't heard anything more about that so maybe they ditched that idea.

no they are definitely doing the ticket ballot. i got my tickets that way last year so its definietly worth registering your details for the ballot.

Registrations will open at 9am EST Thursday 18th October. Each week 1000 tickets for the 2008 Sydney BDO will be made available on our website via an online randomly drawn ballot. The ballot will be drawn at 9pm EST Thursday each week, beginning Thursday 25th October and finishing Thursday 27th December. The weekly ballot ticket limit is 2 tickets per person.

Got mine from the BDO website at 5am after trying like crazy from midnight to 1am. I got tickets in the ballot last year

ditto.....we got ours at 5am too.
apparently ticketmaster was a shit fight......

we had two people on there from 8.55am to get our other two tickets.

Tried for 2 hours on the BDO website last night to no avail, it was ridiculous.
Got my tickets through Ticketmaster and the whole thing took 6 minutes.. it was a breeze compared to BDO site.

I think the line-up is definitely worth it - it makes up for the shit line-up of last year.

I was waiting in line for 12 minutes on ticketmaster before I got mine, it was such a relief. RATM, Bjork, Arcade Fire and Sarah Blasko I'm pretty excited about, but the rest.. I'm a bit apathetic..

I didn't have too much trouble getting tickets. A girl from work asked me to help her get tickets, to I logged in to ticket master at 8.59, too early, than again a minute later and straight into it. Pressed enter a lot while it was thinking about whether to give me tix or not, and bam!
I was pretty surprised. I think it was nicer because the tickets weren't for me, so I wasn't emotionally invested in the outcome.
