Glad you like it. :)

Thank you so much! I'm really happy you like this. :) I'm usually more on the angsty side of the scale, so writing fluff is always a challenge (as it has a tendency to turn sappy real fast).

Oh my goodness, yes! This is wonderful. I could smell the pancakes, the caramelizing bananas, and hear the music. Not surprisingly, I also find myself quite hungry.

Don's mussed hair (which Don says makes him look untidy but Charlie finds utterly charming)

Charlie sighs, utterly content, as Don's lips shape a smile against the back of his neck.

Outside, the world continues to move around them.

These lines are amazing! This is such a wonderful gift. :flails and pimps: Thank you so very much!

Oh god, I'm so relieved that you like this ficlet! I must admit I was pretty nervous about writing something for you. ^^ But also grateful for the wonderful images your prompt conjured up in my mind. They didn't translate fully to the story, but it's a start. :)

How the heck did I miss this? I'm glad Raeyashi mentioned it because, seriously, I am in love with this piece.

Bravo, Sydian. Simply beautiful.

How the heck did I miss this?

That would be because I was so nervous about whether Raeyashi would like this that I hid it in the deepest depths of my journal instead of posting it where people would see it.

because, seriously, I am in love with this piece.

Can I just say that coming from you, this means one hell of a lot to me? I really do have to thank Raeyashi for the pimp (and for planting such lovely images in my mind).

Lovely story, full of simple, powerful intimacy. I love these stories.

I'm tired and seem to be having trouble finding the words I want, but I love it...

Thank you so much! :) But I never could have written this without raeyashi's lovely prompt. I listened to that song and the image of Don and Charlie in the kitchen just started to unfold...
