Well, it's that time of year and some people have been asking what I'd like for Christmas.  (Clear skin? Perseverance? World Peace?)

I believe I owe you a dinner for the first. Something simple and spicy? Jambalaya? I make a mean jambalaya. Or perhaps steak encrusted with boursin cheese and a raspberry-balsamic reduction, some herbed-garlic mashed potatoes, carmellized portabella mushrooms, etc?

Derek is a big blues/jazz fan.. and is always complaining about having no one to go with too. I tried setting him up with a jazz-loving-stripper once.......... but.. um. turns out she liked girls. *coughs*
