Have you ever heard of WWOOF (http://www.wwoof.org)? If not, you should check out their website! One of our temporary roommates from last year found a really awesome work-for-room/board situation through that website, where they teach you about organic farming, they give you a place to stay, and generally feed you food that you're helping to grow, and you go sell it at farmer's markets with them too!

Or at least that's what she did. She worked at one out on an indian reservation near Arcata, CA, and seriously just talked about how it was the best time of her life--actually that's why she was only a temporary roommate, she decided to go back to the farm instead of finishing school.

But...if you have heard of them, then ignore this!

OH giirrrrlll you gotta come by the new cafe. We have a full raw food menu, EVERYTHING is raw, vegan, gluten free. I work here tomorrow evening, so if you're around 45th and Duval (the address is 4500 Duval St.) before 9pm y'all should definitely stop by! I would really love to see you guys. :)
