I'm in Louisville, Kentucky. I've been on a baseball trip with my dad this week. It's much in the same vein as our past trips to spring training and a weekend here or there elsewhere. We were in St. Louis on Sunday for a Brewers/Cardinals game. It was my first visit to the new Busch Stadium. I thought it was all right. Maybe I was unfairly biased ( Read more... )

Are you sure that was a Triple-A game you saw, or the Mets? (Sorry, but I don't know if you watched that 5 error game, but I did, and the Mets looked terrible.)

Man, I'm so jealous of your baseball road trips. How many major league parks are you up to now?

No, I did not have a chance to watch any of those Mets games. Unfortunately, Marriotts do not have the Extra Innings package or even MLB Network. It's just as well that I didn't. I don't need to be living the rock star life throwing televisions out windows in my disgust. (I'm really not joking.) Plus, I'm with my dad, who's a Dodgers fan. So we didn't even discuss that series.

I'm back at 17 MLB parks right now. (I lost two with the Mets and Yankees this year, then gained St. Louis and Cincinnati this week.) But one of these days I really need to tally Minor League parks, too. I probably have about the same number of those. And one of these days you should maybe jump on a plane and catch the Dodgers during some Midwest trip.
