I'm Outta There!

Well, after all that waiting, I never even went through the selection process. Grrr. Don't get me wrong, I love having my afternoon free and not going to work, but I really wanted to see what being a juror was like. But nooo, the dude who was sick yesterday is still sick. So I was let go. Eh. Now I'll probably never get summoned again. I mean ( Read more... )

Good luck on your essays! I've gotten to the point where I wish my paper would write and finish itself lol. I'm SO sick of working on it >.< Not feeling very motivated either, other than the fact that I have to get it done tonight so my mom can read through it, since it's due tomorrow by noon.

It's like my senior project paper all over again except this time I don't have anyone hovering over me telling me to work, so I'm getting distracted a lot by the internet lol.

It's awful though. I feel like I'm making stuff up. I probably am.

Thanks much, Galit. I will be glad when it's all over.

I also find myself distracted more now. I would have never survived going to school and being on HPB.

Good luck with the rest of the term! *hugs*

I'm sorry that you didn't get selected to be on a jury member in a trial. I was also dissapointed the last two times that I had jury duty. The second time I went, each case involved something or someone related to the hosptial where I work. This past time I went I didn't even get to be on a panel. There weren't many cases going on that week. During my first jury duty experience I did get to serve on a jury. It was a great learning opportunity for me, but it was also emotional. The case involved child molestation. It was a little difficult to listen to the evidence while not letting emotions get in the way.

Wow, how long did that first trial last? Sounds like an interesting one, sad though, of course. I just think it would be neat to see how the system really works. I've watched trials on tv shows and such, but I have a feeling it's not quite the same thing.
