Ahahaha, this was a fun read. ♥ I don't think you'll need to worry about Yukina ever deciding to pursue Okita romantically, considering... ahahaha, well, he's sort of more like a best friend/big brother to her and she has NO romantic interest in him whatsoever.
As for Naoto, I think the deal he offered her is going to be a great motivation for her giving him one hell of a fight the next time they spar. Not that she can pull out any kicks or punches during a spar, but she just might go all-out. VE SHALL SEE. 8D I'm not sure if she wants to prove something or she just doesn't want Okita to go easy on her. It's sort of insulting to her to think that way, in that she'd rather get a few broken bones and know it was because he was fighting her with his full strength than get by scot-free but know he was holding back the entire time.
*snrk* Yeah, I wrote several sentences about why Yukina was just not gonna go there, and then deleted them on the grounds of tangent. I think Okita's quite happy with the little sister/friend thing! He's flailing at me just for suggesting hypothetical romance. XD
And I'm really curious to see how things go with Naoto. Okita pretty much expects her to go all-out on him next time, and he's nowhere near as much of a stickler about the rules of sparring as Saitou is. ...That's one of the reasons he asked Saitou to come watch the match, actually. Failsafe in case he ends up going psycho on Naoto. ^^; I mean, we're using bokken, you can kill with those things even if it's a little tougher than it is to kill with a blade. He doesn't entirely mind breaking people's bones in an agreed-upon fight! He'd mind snapping and killing her, though. Also Haine's *already* shot him once, that's enough, really.
It's Yukina. XD SIMPLY PUT. Although now I'm curious about those sentences. She's happy the way things are with Okita right now.
Ahaha, yes. XD Naoto's determined to prove she's not a pushover and I really think she WOULD go all-out, even if it'll earn her more broken bones. Not to mention even if Okita did slip up and kill her, 7 days later, she'd be back and all "REMATCH D:". Of course, she'd rather not die, but Saitou did say "Always expect to die", so she'd be giving it her all, either way. In a sense, you could say she'd be incredibly honored if she could get Okita to go full strength against her. For someone who's been training fiercely in the blade and in a couple of other fighting forms, she's got the potential, but Okita's got more experience and that's what frustrates her, I think.
Ahaha, careful, though, Haine might shoot him again if Naoto's injured too badly. XD Not that she'd let him, but.
They went something along the lines of "like a little sister really and also dating someone else and and and." It was pretty entertaining, actually! Just not very coherent.
I'm curious to see what happens! Do you want to make the main-community post for it or shall I? I'm free after about 12:45 today, and intermittently before then~
Hee, look what Wolfram started, just from calling Okita gay~ ♥ I'll have to write one for Wolfram, too, mow along with all those other ones I need to write. I can't remember half of the topics, though..., because he and Okita are somewhat similar in this department (especially the no-touchie rule, though instead of freezing Wolfram smacks people away unless it's Yuuri durr).
If Wolfram let himself and he wasn't already so devoted to someone else, he might have given Okita some thought in that way, but even then it would be mostly from an admirer's point of view and not as a romantic persual. Oh God, I just hypothetically raped my canon. But I am interested as to how good of friends Wolfram and Okita will end up being. :o
(And a total LOL at the fact that Wolfram fits Okita's taste in women, not men. That seems to happen a lot. XD)
Hee, you get to cover the "narcissism" thing too, though. ^_^ I encourage essaying, it's interesting to read~
You know, Wolfram's an expert swordsman, which makes him pretty much Okita's type in men. -_-;; I should've included that, really. As it is, though, I think that resemblance to Tetsu that he noticed is going to keep him from ever consciously thinking of Wolfram that way, because, well. Tetsu's like everybody's kid brother. Ew. That's why he fits there as "Okita might see him that way if he started seriously pursuing but not otherwise." And something tells me they'll end up pretty good friends! Okita's already showing his claws to people over Wolfram's feelings. Did you see that thread with Yuuri? It surprised me.
And you mean it surprised you as in Okita was really forward without asking for your permission first? ♥
And though I see the similarity, by the end of the series Wolfram gets over many of those mannerisms with the exception of Yuuri. Or does the Okita still see the similarity when Wolfram teases back? I find it funny that we're both saying "IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN" even though they have an innuendo or two for every single thread they're in. I don't think Wolfram would have done the "in bed" thing with anyone else. XD;;
