My new (well, reconditioned, but new to me) compound miter saw arrived today! It's got a frickin' laser beam on it. I am stoked. Tomorrow I'm gonna hit up Home Depot to buy some redwood. This will become the wife's planter box for a little garden she wants to grow. Then in a few weeks, after the ground dries out a bit, I'll start putting in the

Those things are quite useful.

The first room we redid was Anne's room, and trying to cut molding at an angle so it would match up using a "miter box" and a hand saw sucked worse than a singularity. Last year we picked up a compound miter saw (some off brand, but it worked great) and it went SO much better.

If you are still working on this Shed of Mystery when I come out, I will be more than happy to help out.
