[Michael sounds pretty normal, honestly. Affected, he's not terribly different than usual, easy going and maybe a little more cheerful, but all in all not that noticeably. And he is apparently int he process of rambling about nothing when the feed patches in.]
Dinosaurs were interesting. I liked them--not so much as humans, of course--but they were still fun to watch.
[He pauses, as if waiting, but there's only silence. Continuing undeterred after a moment, he babbles on.]
I didn't expect them to turn into birds, though.
[There's a distant sound like a disgruntled cat that is choosing to remain silent with dignity.]
You know, this event really isn't that bad, Raphael. Everyone's being pleasant for once.
[After some silence, a voice answers. It's unfamiliar at first: soft, gentle, but rich and baritone with a distinctive smoothness.]
It is unnatural, Michael. And your voice is as welcome as the manifold blessings this city has to offer.
[Yep, that's Raphael all right, sounding almost too smiley but like she's one broken nail away from burning down the city. Michael, in contrast, is really not bothered. Even if he were, he couldn't show it. And he gets that thinly veiled insult, Raphael, but cheerfully ignores it.]
I'm more glad to hear yours, Raphael. How long has it been now? Three days?
Perhaps.
Raphael, it's just me. Embrace the pleasantry; maybe you'll feel less dreary.
[Okay no. 'Dreary' is going a bit far, even for Michael, and his voice falters on the word. What is he, an 80 year old human woman?]
I am hurt that you cannot accept me as I am.
[Sob she is going to kill them over and over. Let's do hug and cry about feelings, yes?]
I never intended to hurt your feelings, Raphael.
[True but really... He also didn't intend to say that.]
I. [Someone with sharp ears (or any passer-by, or someone going deaf) might now hear the sound of a window shattering.] I am aware.
Michael.
[With a spectacular explosion the feed goes dead.]
[ooc: Michael is green and Raphael is blue~]
