You totally used the wrong cap, and made it look weird. It's a grandfatherly hug.

Also, it's a book thing. If you haven't read the books, there is a really strong relationship between a Confessor and her Wizard, and I think that was what they were trying to emulate here. :) Anyways, I like it... But that might just be cause I'm a hug freak. I love hugging scenes.

I agree that it is a grandfatherly hug. I think Kahlan only looks freaked out and trying to get away in that cap because Richard is clearly hitting on the woman in foreground and she's getting jealous :)
