. . . . you mean what was said on Kline's journal? There's a reason we don't say the first thing that comes to mind, especially me. Things come out entirely wrong. I didn't lie. She's a friend and nothing more. For various reasons anything else would be impossible, so its not something I'd consider bizarre curses, notwithstanding. I have no doubt that you are the one she loves who means the most to her.

Under different circumstances, anything is possible. But the circumstances are what they are. Even without you there are complications that would keep me from pursuing that kind of relationship with anyone right now.

And I believe that you are the one who can make her the most happy. Unfortunately that means you are probably also the one who can upset her the most, that's the price we pay for getting close to people.
