I wanted to wait til I had more time than this weekend to read and digest this before I commented.

Firstly, we get so many Warden perspective after Alistair's death stories, so it's so nice to see one from his perspective.

Beautiful and sad - Alistair shows that ultimate patience, waiting to be reunited with his love. I remember in one book where they described it as the greater sacrifice - not giving up your life for your love, but giving up your love for Life - to help everyone around you.
