Evening all
I'm the sub (again) for this one, so I used something that was already kicking around in my head. It's a taster for something I intend to write after I finish Trouble&Strife (I don't have to stamina to write two big fics at once), and therefore has some loose ends that I cannot close down in this piece alone. I'm glad I've had the opportunity to get this beginning down on paper actually. I can now safely turn my back on it, knowing that, when the time comes, I can read this chapter and the rest will flow from there.
I hope it's not too dodgy for me to have shoe-horned this into a challenge slot.

Thank you again for picking up yet another story. Perhaps you have some story request that I could work on sometime for you?

Here's something interesting, and I definitely can't write it, I don't know one of the characters well enough.
What happens if Alistair and Loghain are finally forced to discuss their differences of opinion? Could be a fine argument, assuming Loghain can be brought to string more than half a dozen words together. And it is possible, seeing as (if he survives the Blight) Loghain would be Ali's father-in-law in one ending.

I look forward to seeing where this all goes.

It'll be some time before you see it again, I have to finish T&S first, or I'll go as crazy as a room full of Cullens.

Trying to working on two fics of the magnitude of T&S would drive you straight up bonkers. If nothing else, just trying to keep the characterizations straight in your head when switching between the two.

But oh, Venice and Crows. What an incredibly colourful world to write in :o) And having written a pretty powerful Alistair in T&S, it'll be fun to turn it around, and have a very powerful Zev leading him around by the nose.
