Seven Heavenly Virtues: Kindness

Aug 24, 2010 01:23

Evening all

I'm the sub (again) for this one, so I used something that was already kicking around in my head.  It's a taster for something I intend to write after I finish Trouble&Strife (I don't have to stamina to write two big fics at once), and therefore has some loose ends that I cannot close down in this piece alone.  Apologies if that ( Read more... )

media: fic, character: alistair, challenges: seven heavenly virtues, character: zevran

Oooh, lovely idea. I'm looking forward to the full fic now! After Trouble and Strife though :)

Definitely after T&S finishes. I'd go mad trying to do two at once.

I'm glad I've had the opportunity to get this beginning down on paper actually. I can now safely turn my back on it, knowing that, when the time comes, I can read this chapter and the rest will flow from there.

I hope it's not too dodgy for me to have shoe-horned this into a challenge slot.

I think that the ending could easily stand fine as it is, really. It's nice to know that in your future, Alistair wasn't totally broken - it's difficult to change who you are, no matter how you try, in either direction.

Thank you again for picking up yet another story. Perhaps you have some story request that I could work on sometime for you?

oooh, a pressie. for me!

Here's something interesting, and I definitely can't write it, I don't know one of the characters well enough.

What happens if Alistair and Loghain are finally forced to discuss their differences of opinion? Could be a fine argument, assuming Loghain can be brought to string more than half a dozen words together. And it is possible, seeing as (if he survives the Blight) Loghain would be Ali's father-in-law in one ending.

Alistair at his core is still a big damn hero. ^_^
I look forward to seeing where this all goes.

Yeah, he's our paladin, bless his weak golden heart.

It'll be some time before you see it again, I have to finish T&S first, or I'll go as crazy as a room full of Cullens.

I shall wait patiently.
Trying to working on two fics of the magnitude of T&S would drive you straight up bonkers. If nothing else, just trying to keep the characterizations straight in your head when switching between the two.

I'm content to wait, considering the reason we're waiting is Trouble & Strife. :D

Thanks! Time to mentally leave sunny Antiva now, and think about cold muddy Ferelden. brrr

Hee. Alistair as a fallen paladin, huh? A great concept, and I love Venice as Antiva City here. Very vivid, I could almost smell it.

Good! I'm glad about that. I've only been to Venice in the winter, for Carnivale (some of my friends held a full costume wedding there), so I had to imagine what it would be like in summer, in a time with minimum sanitation. My sense of smell was trying to shut down just thinking about it.

But oh, Venice and Crows. What an incredibly colourful world to write in :o) And having written a pretty powerful Alistair in T&S, it'll be fun to turn it around, and have a very powerful Zev leading him around by the nose.
