Admittedly, the idea for this started out as a bit of a joke. Let's put vampires in the DA universe, haha. But what if it was the taint? The mythology's already there - the fact that humans/elves/dwarves can contract it, the fact that the Wardens themselves will one day turn...

I dunno, really... but so far it's fun!
