I'm trying to decide if I want to romance him... I don't mind the no-sex thing so long as there is a good reason for it.

He doesn't want to risk having kids before marriage because they won't count as legit heirs? That's fine.

He took Chantry vows against sex? Yeah, I'll pick someone else :/

Not sure Templars have to, actually. I mean, Avaline's husband WAS a Templar. Unless the vow was of chastity, I suppose.

What happened was my Hawke going to talk to Anders in his clinic pretty much immediately after recruiting him and I chose every "nice" option. Suddenly and almost out of nowhere I'm presented with 3 convo options: 2 of which are flirty and one with a broken heart. I picked the less flirty out of the two and Anders goes I'LL BREAK YOUR HEART I'M GOING TO HURT YOU NOOOO and I'm like ok dude whatev.

I guess it's not so much ninjamancing as being sort of shoehorned into a romance for being "nice".

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH HIM but David Gaider thinks romancing dwarves is "gross" even though Varric was written as a romance option. 8(

I was torn between Fenris and Anders before the game came out, finally decided on Anders for my mage playthrough. I do hope not selecting 'I don't mind a little pain <3' during the first convo you have in his clinic won't mess anything up, lol.

Still, I can't wait for Fenris to show up either. << Maybe I'll change my mind. YOU NEVER KNOW. (though with him, it would have to be hot rivalry sex with a mage, wouldn't it.)
