...by eight people simultaneously! I guess this is a classic example of group-think. Some individuals start down a bad road, and rather than arguing, the other members of the group bolster the idiocy. This is probably LITERALLY dumber than one person could be alone!

51% of the electorate - over 59 million people voted for George W. Bush in 2004. I recognize that there are some 30% of the population who will never vote for a Democrat. (I'm a Democrat who really can't envision a scenario where I would affirmatively vote for a Republican instead of not voting for that office at all.) Still, a majority did pick him for four more years of misrule.
There are brain studies showing some parts of the brain don't fully develop until near adulthood. This is the part that deals with consequences. Obviously, this region was quite underdeveloped with these bullies.
Don't forget psychopathy. Everytime I reflect on that condition, I feel unease. They simply don't have any regard for other people, and it's fun.
