Yeah, I agree with you on most of this.

Beast was tight when he was fighting, but Kelsey Grammer makes me sick.

Ugh, and Kitty?! That biotch needed to get run over by a train while she was with that little Leech boy and her powers wouldn't work. That girl's acting was bad. However, I liked a couple of her scenes despite that.

I was sad that Professor X died, but the graphics were so tight when it happened. But I agree- they shouldn't have killed both he and Scott. And Scott definitely shouldn't have disappeared like he did- he just up and vanished so quickly.

Storm needed to die. Halle got on my nerves so bad in this movie and I don't know why. Why did they give her lines?! OMG, no. I do not want to hear you talk.

Ugh, I so pissed about Mystique! I loved her! Magneto pissed me off when he left her there like that. But I love Magneto, he was great.

I think the bottom line (and the reason for all our complaints) is simply that for the first time in this franchise, this movie was treated like typical Hollywood product. The focus was on releasing it Memorial Day weekend 2006 and that was that. The love and care that Singer & Co. put into it was nowhere to be found. I'm realizing that Ratner's involvement was inconsequential. It was 20th Century Fox's fault, ALL the way.
