Summary: “I’ve keep it as secret for along time, but Chii, I want you to know, Ryo-chan......”
Chinen show him questioning face. “It’s the last word from Yama-chan.” Daiki face turn to sadness, but Chinen eyes wide open. He put the photo to its beginning position, and take that letter. He rush open it. There’s beautiful handwriting. He read it and remembered about Yamada smile.
“I’ve keep it as secret for along time, but Chii, I want you to know, Ryo-chan......”
“CHII,” someone blam the door and come to the room. “Daijoubu?” it’s Ryutaro. He come and hugs Chinen. He grip something in his hand too. “Gomen, I don’t know Yamada will do it. It’s my fault to say such cruel thing to him.”
“Ne Dai-chan, what you gonna tell me back then?” he even doesn't care to what Ryutaro want to tell him. The question make Ryutaro release Chinen from his embrace and looked at Daiki.
“Well,” he lower his voice and looked down, can’t face Chinen anymore, “do you notice something about you are being bullied?”
“What do you mean, Dai-chan?” Chinen asked him.
“You get bullied for a long time, deshou? But, suddenly they stop to bullying you.”
“Ya, I remembered it. They suddenly stop their action. I don’t know the reason, but I’m so glad at that time.” Chinen said and looked at Daiki with puzzled face. He still don’t get what that boy means.
“They stop it because Yama-chan.” finally he said it. “Yama-chan meet them after know you still get bullying. He asked them to stop, but they told him, they won’t. They do that because they hate to see you two. They told him, they will stop if Yama-chan willing to be the next victim, replacing you. He agree with that, demo, they should do that without you know it, Chii. They agree with that too. Since that time, they stop bullying you, and begin with Yama-chan. Everytime, after walk you home, they bullied him and make so much bruised on his body. He always came to me, I treat his bruised. When I asked him about that. He always asked me to not tell you, because you will cry and feel guilty, and it will hurt you.”
“T-t-that’s why he always using sweater that I gave him as his birthday present?” Daiki nodded. “He always said, he love that sweater so much. But, actually, he wear it to hiding his bruises?” Daiki nodded again.
“BAKA! WHY YOU DON’T TELL ME SUCH IMPORTANT THING LIKE THAT!” tears fall down again as he yelled at Daiki.
“I shouldn’t, Chii. You know that.” now, Daiki face him in grief.
“Chii, I’m so sorry!!!” Ryutaro bowed to Chinen, make him confused. “I feel so sorry to you. Yamada made such decision because I said something cruel to him. I said he should be the one who died, not you because he didn’t can protect you like his promise.
“Ryuu-chan,” Daiki called him. “I know now what he mean by saying that.” both of Chinen and Ryutaro looked at Daiki. “You should be his important best friend. He said to me to tell you not blame yourself, he know you well, huh?” it’s bitter smile from Daiki. “He know you will get hurt. Demo sa, Ryuu-chan, you should grant his last wish. You know it, deshou?”
“Un,” he nodded. “I know it after I read this letter.” Chinen come closer to him and take that letter from his grips. It’s just simple line on it ‘I’m sorry to hurt you so much all this time. Now, it’s your turn to make him happy. Go well with him. I know you love him so much, more than me. Arigatou na, I’m so glad to be your bestfriend.’ tears fall down again from Chinen eyes.
“I think, Yama-chan will happy to see this.”
“Then Chii, will you be with me from now on? I promise you, I’ll take care of you for the whole of my life.” he said it while sobbing.
“I’ll be with you Ryuu-chan, since we’re bestfriend too. I still love Ryo-chan, it’s hurt for me to forget him.”
“I’ll waiting for you. I’ll waiting till you can forget him. I’ll be by your side. Do you mind If I do that?” Ryuu-chan said and come more closer to Chinen.
“I don’t mind with it Ryuu-chan, demo....it will take long time. Gomen.”
“Iie, I’ll waiting for you.”
“Arigatou....” Chinen smiled though tears won’t stop. “Ne Ryo-chan, arigatou. Arigatou to beat for me. Arigatou for everything you do all this time. I’ll always love you and I don’t think I can forget you. Because, you’re always be my precious one.” Chinen said it in his mind.
