Currently Knitting: Butterfly Mittens. I figured what I wanted to do with the pattern-I even did a gauge swatch up for a number of different options! But while doing the gauge swatch, I kind of. . . forgot to check my gauge. Starting over with 40 stitches instead of 44. . .

Really should get back to watching Merlin. I think I stopped watching late last season. But shirtless Arthur and Merlin in chains? I think you sold me.

As for Joan v. Peggy, I was on Peggy's side, but I guess neither was completely right either way. Time for me to download the next episode...

Arthur's shirtless twice! In the span of two episodes!

And there were hints of forward momentum! Not much momentum-I think they just took their foot off the break so the car's just ambling along, but it's more than there was during season two.

And yeah, I'm totally on Peggy's side on this-even with Joan's points. Even if it benefited her more than Joan, it was still the right thing to do.

I was absolutely on Peggy's side. Respect trumps being thought of as a humourless bitch. And I mean, I know it's too eary for these kinds of ~radical ideas but who gives a fuck what they think, anyway? Ugh, the reaction to that whole thing made me eyroll.

Also, buy the next Ex Machina. Buy ALL THE EX MACHINA. I can't believe it's going to be over soon.

I've got to admit, my first thought upon seeing everyone side with Joan on Inside Mad Men was wondering how warped everyone had become from working in television. Passive-aggressive power plays aren't an effective way to deal with sexual harassment-I'm pretty sure I even had a webinar about that at work and everything.

Also, buy the next Ex Machina. Buy ALL THE EX MACHINA. I can't believe it's going to be over soon.

I'm working on it! I'm trying to pace myself (and save my poor, poor bank account), but it's hard. . .

I think the last issue already came out in the states last month, but I've been hiding from discussions about it for fear of spoilers.
