Because I'm already forcing everyone else to ask me questions, so why not:

Want to play? Comment with "Why I otter!"

- I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
- Update your journal with the answers to the questions. Or just answer them here if that’s easier.
- ask me five of your own if you want, and I will ( Read more... )

You wear a lot more clothing to bed than I do in the summer. :D

1. When's the wedding? I forget these things.

2. Let's talk about you in bed. Do you change what sort of covers/sheets/bedclothes you wear for the winter and the summer?

3. How did you become a nanny?

4. You're opening up your own business. What are you selling/what service are you providing?

5. If you could change/improve one thing about your writing, what would it be?

Oh man, jersey sheets are amazing. We switch between three different types of sheets, but that's because we really do need flannel here during the winter. And layers. Lots of layers.

Also, personally I think your bakery should have cookies AND cats. Then it would be the most awesome.

Well, technically, it should be why I otter, but I'll let it go. This time.

1. If you had the chance to do college all over again, what would you change?

2. What's your thesis on? Besides, you know, biochemistry.

3. How often do you check lj these days?

4. What was the last thing you knit?

5. What was the last thing you watched on TV that you enjoyed?

1. Why did you start up pulped fictions? Is it more or less work than you expected?

2 and 3. Good news! You are going to get 500,000 pounds to spend however you want. But you'll only get this money if you give one million pounds away. What do you spend your money on, and who do you give the rest of the money to? Expect all tax concerns to be taken care of, and the moneys could be given to individuals or charities. You cannot form a corporation.

4. Are you a morning person or a night person?

5. If someone asked you what your five year plan was five years ago, what would you have said? Is it anything like what's happening now?

Basically I wanted to create a fandom-type inspiring and supportive environment but for people doing original work. I’d ducked out of fandom, and I found I really missed being able to talk to people who actually cared about my writing. It’s been WAY more work than I thought, but it’s also been way more popular than I ever dreamed it would be, so the work is balanced by general feelings of, ‘eeee, I think I made something pretty cool here!’

Ha, I hear you on waiting for stores to open. Though my default is waking up early and bumming around the house until, like, noon ( ... )

Maybe start with The City & The City? It's a lighter read than some of his other novels, but still has an amazing concept behind it ( ... )

oh yay! You'll have to let me know what you think about it.

And well, knitting is mostly muscle memory and practice anyway.

I edited in the questions for you above. They might not have shown up if you replied by email, so just pointing them out.
