Yay. June 1st. For me, this marks the first day of Summer (who cares about that Summer Solstice mumbo jumbo) When the topic of dinner came up last night while hanging out with friends, I immediately threw in the option of finding a restaurant with a nice patio. I love summer overall, not to mention that a lot of the best songs of alltime are about the summertime. Moreso in Japan, but also plenty from America. The only thing I don't love is when the weather gets too hot. Which in Chicago... means the entire summer. Couple that with the insane humidity we get, and it's a nightmare. I sweat more than anyone we know already, even when it's not very hot out. Not to mention that sweaty Jesus means that everything sticks to me... which for OCD means it's exponentially worse. Haha I'm such a buzzkill.

The one thing I don't like about the heat and all that sweating is having to take time during the day to take an extra shower before going back out for the evening. I sweat like a moose!
