Best part of the Osu vs. Michigan game:
Watching the police protect both goal posts in true Praetorian phalanx formations.
Now let's hope the fans don't embarass the city of Columbus...
I'm off to Meijer to line up for a Wii!!!

Good luck in your Wii quest!

I have a Wii! I'm so exhausted. I don't think I calibrated the nunchaku controllers correctly. Nonetheless, from playing just a little of Wii Sports and Zelda, I can say it is well worth the time and money!

After watching the game, 5 of us piled into TJ's car and started driving around to Meijer's and Walmarts in the Greater Columbus area. I was crammed in the back seat calling around to ask about waiting lines, etc. We ended up taking a short road trip to the Meijer in Marion because they were doing a raffle at Midnight for 16 Wii consoles. Even with the extra friends to draw tickets, I was the only one who got lucky. TJ, Sean, and another friend of theirs wound up camped outside Target from 4am-8am this morning to get theirs @_@
I bought an extra controller so we can play before our trip for Thanksgiving!

Let me know what it's like using that funky lookin controller. It looked odd to me. Can I come try it sometime? *big turtly eyes at you*

The Wii-mote controller is incredible. Playing Wii Sports is something every videogamer has to experience.
My ONLY complaint with the sensor is the calibration. If you stare down the end of the Wii-mote pointed at the screen, the crosshairs are off by about 2 inches down. So far, the manual hasn't been very helpful in prescribing a method to correct this and I've gone through every configuration menu on the Wii to no avail. Maybe I'm just an idiot and haven't seen the obvious configuration, or maybe it's the distance to the TV, etc. Zelda has a separate calibration menu, which isn't too bad. But having to adjust the Wii-mote for EVERY game would be annoying @_@

Mmm...january good for you? I'm pretty squished up this month and December unless you're planning to come to the soon to be announced OAF holiday feast I'm cooking and bring it with you. :)
