The DVD also included a rather choppy short animated feature about Stitch's origins that had subtly off-puttingly off-model character designs. It bugged me.
I liked the short overall. The iffy quality of the animation bugged me too, but Jumba chasing the booger monster around with a teeny butterfly net was priceless. Also, I like saying booger.
Have you ever caught the TV show? The chara design in the short looked kinda halfway between the movie Stitch and TV Stitch.
To be completely honest, and I'm no animation expert, even the characters in SHAG looked slightly "off" to me--they looked a bit too "round," if that makes any sense.
I have (yeah, that was me before...I'm so not used to LJ'ing on the laptop), but I must shamefully admit that I never noticed the character redesigns.
Had no idea they were ending the series so soon, or so I assume from the Leroy & Stitch ad. I take it they haven't actually documented the capture of all 625 cousins in the episodes.
