I’m not expecting anymore pre-orders this month, nor am I allowed to order anything outside of these books anyway so I might as well post this now. Today, in my mailbox was:
You can tell I'm a bookaholic since 200 books doesn't sound like a lot to me. XD
I hope you're enjoying the Element Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures! I have so many post-it tabbies in that thing, haha. The Ghosts & Hauntings encyclopedia in the same series has been pretty inspirational for me as well.... (Rosemary Ellen Guiley's encyclopedias still are my favorites for research, though!)
I totally get that. But since I've been collecting books since before I could even read...um, yeah, 200 is nothing to me. XD
Those books are definitely useful for writers! I always love to stock up on encyclopedias like that to help me with my own books. You should check out your local Barnes and Noble sometime, since if it's anything like mine, it will probably have this particular series in the sales section--and if not this series, a bunch of other helpful ones just like it! :)

I have a bunch of those encyclopedia's in my wishlist -- they just seem like they'll all be useful at some point in my writing life.
